Newcastle's city centre is thriving with new bars and places popping up monthly. Now that the quayside has turned pretty much into Blackpool pleasure beach with its keenness to attract the tourist and local alike, a lot of the trendy people of Newcastle of which there are many have started to take the walk up Dean street to other establishments.

Newcastle has a massive number of bars, late bars and night clubs depending on your taste and mood. They range from the the cheeziest in the country to others winning bar of the year award.
